Grace as Common Ground: The Implications

December 29, 2010

So as not to be too abstract and philosophical, let’s talk implications. In relation to the last post, the idea that a condition, an “ether” of grace surrounds and sustains us, and it includes love, what does that mean for religious viewpoints, for religious worship of one form or other of “God”?

What does it mean for the ways we interact with each other across religions or between a religious person and a serious skeptic or unbeliever in anything unseen? Between a Christian and a nonchristian?

I think the implications are immense, but let’s get specific with some examples.  What has stood out to you in your experience? Or what can you imagine?
